Week 40 ~ I'm training??????!!!???

Hello everybody. I hope that you all are doing so very well. To cut to the chase, transfer news came and I'm training a new missionary who is six weeks in his mission!!! I'm going to be on an island in Catanduanes, San Andres. So that was crazy but I'm so excited even though rumor has it I'm going to be the Branch President there.

Things that happened this week:

-Got bashed by an atheist, then when I proved him wrong, he bashed our religion and Joseph Smith.

-Did my laundry, and it only took 1 hour (I'm pretty much a pro now).

-Had many friends commit and come to church.

And that's honestly about it, not very much happened this week, but that's okay! The weeks are literally flying by and I can't even keep track of them anymore. The language is still hard, but it's also really fun, I'm getting to the point of understanding all of what people are saying, although it depends on the speaker and if they are using the second language here (Bikolono).

Spiritual thought: One of the things that I learned from that atheist is that if we close ourselves off from feeling the Spirit, we literally cannot feel it. Personal experience is actual evidence of God, although many may dispute that point. The end all be all is that we need to be willing to trust the Spirit and trust God, no matter what we feel like. You gain a deeper understanding of your existence, and love for others when you follow God. God is what gives us morality, a higher law. Without God, we are just animals on a rock in space. I know love is a byproduct of the magnificent creation of God! I read President Rusell M. Nelson's talk in 2000, Titled ''The Creation'' and it really put things in perspective for me. I invite you all to read and ponder his talk as well.

Mahal ko kayong lahat talaga!!!
