Happy fathers Days, Love you Dad! Fathers are the best, I would like to give a shout to my dad, All the sacrifices he has made for us. Dads are the most unsung heroes of our lives. Give your dad a hug next time you see him!! Miracle: The first thing I would like to say is, with a heavy heart Nanay Pheobe died. I would like to tell her story, because I only learned about this recently.  In my last last area, my companion and I were searching through grey dots (People who were taught back then, but dropped because they weren't progressing). We came across this nanay who had gone to church, but after that was listed as not progressing. We taught her one time, gave her to the STL's and moved on. Well turns out she got baptized, and the Elder that baptized her told me the following story: They were praying if they should baptize her because her knowledge of the gospel was not very strong. They felt the Spirit prompt them to go ahead and baptize her, but around the same time nanay go...

One of my favorite anime, Vinland saga, has one of the best questions and answers in all of fiction. What is a true warrior? Not in the sense of an actual warrior, but in the sense of what is a true man? It reminds me of the question that I think Jesus asked if I'm not mistaken ''What manner of man ought ye to be''? In vinland saga the main character's father tells him a simple yet powerful truth that is also part of the gospel that Jesus Christ also taught. He tells his son ''The truth is son, nobody has any enemies''.  I invite you to think about that next time you see the news or hear about hatred towards one another. Lets go guyzzz! My last birthday in the mission. It's crazy because once you turn 20, you realize now you have actual responsibilities in your life. But okay, kaya ko yan (Sana). Birthday week was fire, and we all know how kind the filipinos are so they put together a little something special for me. Anyway in the words of Netero from Hunter x Hunter (my fav anime) ; Nagpapasalmat ako, para sa lahat  mga bagay sa buhay ko. (I'm grateful for all things in my life). I've truly been blessed and i think sharing that blessing with others is what makes a mission so special. I think every mission is truly the best mission for the missionary (does that make sense?). Unlike OJ the glove fits for me here in the Legazpi mission. Any other mission and it just wouldn't feel right. The challenges God has helped me overcome (language, food and culture) I'm forever grateful for. Alright guys so I got transferred, which came as a surprise to me because I thought that I was going to stay in Batan Island. But it's cool because my companion is good and we will probably only be one cycle together cause he leaves next cycle. His name is Elder Bero and we were in the same district when I was assigned on Cat Island.  This new area is super beautiful, the church is probably the nicest church I've ever been in. It literally is brand new and feels like a temple on the inside. Along with the church, our apartment has two AC units and semi-warm water because the pipe is outside, also there's wifi, so it's a set up (not trunky yet). So my living situation has completely gotten upgraded, and I'm grateful talaga for that. Miracle: This week ate Grace was baptized and confirmed. The title is a phrase I have maybe heard a million times in the Philippines, and it means something to the effect of "How's your living" which makes no sense in English but yeah, I didn't know what to title my email so I picked at random. Anyway let's get to the life updates! Living like a mission in 1937: Well my phone's been broken, like not actually but the software's been cooked. So I've had no phone for the past five weeks, which is okay. I say that but it's not, because I think what happened is that Elon Musk realized the Filipinos were using Starlink for their wifi here and not paying royalties to Tesla, so as of last week all of the internet  has gotten cut off. The internet still hasn't returned and we are living in probably for my money, the most rural place you can possibly get assigned as a missionary anywhere in the world. I've been so tired lately, but that doesn't stop the work from progressing. My new comp is great, he is like 10x better then I was coming out of the MTC. They do a better job now and he also has a brand new cell phone I'm jealous of. But he is super matibian (amazing in Bikol). He will become a good missionary in this mission.  

Time is flying by, and it's crazy because this cycle is up. I'm staying here in Batan, and my companion is transferring. I'm training again, so please pray for me as i embark on an endeavor.  You know, training is a lot like being a parent, I realized that the first time I trained last July. You have to be responsible, be the driving factor and suffer the burden of leading constantly. But at the same time, it's rewarding because you get to see the growth of a new missionary and help them become the person God wants them to become. It might be a foreigner, because in this batch there is three Papua New Guinea (I think that's how you spell it) and one American. The rest are fillipino, so we will see what ends up happening.  Anyway time is flying by, because by the time i'm done traning i'll only have 12 weeks left in my mission.
